In the year 2017, we have seen a lot of cool FPS games released. From the return of the COD franchise to its roots through "WWII", enjoying the horror of the Baker family in "Resident Evil 7" to feel the cruelty of the world after the Nazi victory in "Wolfenstein II The New Colossus".
Well, in the year 2018, it seems the success of the FPS video game genre will resume. Through some new video games up to the continuation of a successful franchise, 2018 will be the year of big FPS games.
1. Far Cry 5
The fifth series of Ubisoft's most popular FPS franchise "Far Cry 5", is ready for release in 2018. This game will use a fictitious city called Hope County located in Montana, United States. Based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel, 4A Games finally officially announced the third series of "Metro", "Exodus". This FPS game will be set in the future, precisely in know 2036, where the earth has been destroyed by the nuclear war that occurred several years earlier. If you follow the "Metro" series, then "Exodus" will follow the storyline of "Last Light". 4A Games promises a wider world, more frightening monsters and a new system that gamers will love . There is no official release date, but certainly, this game will be released in 2018.
3. Hunt Showdown
"Hunt Showdown" which originally had the title "Hunt: Horrors Of The Gilded Age", is scheduled for release in 2015 ago. Moving hands from one developer to another, making this game finally resumed its development and made more perfect again. "Hunt Showdown" is basically an FPS game with a thick element of survival and horror. There are some very interesting elements that make this game worth a try, one of which is an unusual monster hunting style . It is estimated that this game will be released in the fourth quarter of 2018 .
4. Deep Rock Galactic
The theme of the space dwarf found in "Deep Rock Galactic" makes many people worry if this game will be similar to "Space Hulk Deathwing", but with simpler graphics and funny. "Deep Rock Galactic" is a co-op FPS game that can hold 4 players at once. This game has a unique level design and requires good teamwork to complete every mission. A completely destructible environment is one of the attractions of this game. Game developed by Ghost Ship Games is scheduled to be released at the end of 2018 .
5. Overkill’s The Walking Dead
"Overkill's The Walking Dead" is a co-op FPS game based on the comic series The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman. In this game the player must be able to survive in a world filled with brain-eating zombies. Details about the plot of the story in this game have not been officially published yet, but the developer team has informed that this game will have a VR version as well. Unfortunately, information about the release date of this game is still unknown. To be sure, this game will be released for Xbox One, PS4, and also PC in 2018. Let's wait.
