 AND

For previous generations of gaming enthusiasts, this epitomizes the downfall of the triumphant company Atari . ET the Extra-Terrestrial was created when it was intended to adapt Steven Spielberg 's booming movie .

Then Atari instructed key designer Howard Scott Warshaw to make the game in less than two weeks . The result is a catastrophe for the company. The game looks very superficial and so visible origin create. Finally this game was not sold and made Atari fall.

There are many signs that Ion Storm , Daikatana is really messy, namely the fact that this game was released while still in the middle of its development. So, the results show that the game is so bad from all aspects.

This also makes Daikatana failed to cover the cost of production and raise the company name. In the end, a fatal result occurred, in which Ion Storm had to withdraw from the competition of the gaming market and close the company.

Once considered the best in terms of making a profound story-based RPG game , BioWare must stare at the disaster after they launch the Mass Effect series: Andromeda .

Many negative reviews hit, ranging from ugly animations, overly ordinary plots , and less attractive characters, the sale of this game was well below expectations. Finally, this continuation project was transferred to the company Electronic Arts .

6. SimCity (2013) - Maxis

simcity

Electronic Arts initially wanted SimCity to be a good reboot , an exciting and cool gameplay with a new look. Unfortunately, Maxis as the developer became a victim, because the game has many failures, especially games are required to always be online.

Once gamers have managed to play SimCity, many find that the experience and features in it is so limited compared to its predecessor game. As a result, Maxim had to be rewarded with the closure of the studio.

7. Haze (2008) - Free Radical Design

Ambition is a great motivator, but if not controlled ambition just devoured all the business that has been issued. Free Radical Design as the famous TimeSplitters game maker, is slowly aware of this in the making of Haze games .

Haze appears as a very messy game. Disadvantages narrative severe and bugs in various lines make many gamers give reviews on the negative tone of the game. Obviously this project also brought bankruptcy to Free Radical Design .
